By Oloyi Kehinde Thompson
Let the wailer wail
Let the disgruntled mumble
Let the bitten cry
Let the resentful groan
But the brave don’t cry
The wise don’t pretend
A fighter is a victor
Life is the arena
Challenges are spectators
A true victor ignore
Grittily gaze the goal
Glory is the prize
Valour is the virtue
Wisdom is the weapon
Endurance is the strength
Success is the judge
Don’t give up
Don’t ever give up
Don’t ever ever give up
Life is stubborn
You can’t be cold
Thumps up Kenny, well structured…One can’t afford to give up because of other life’s attached to it.
Life is the arena
Wow, this is wonderful and inspiring.
Thumbs up Kenny
Very inspiring…one confusing stanza:
Challenges are spectators
A true victor ignore
Grittily gaze the goal.. should this be Challenges as spectator/A true victor ignores/Grittily gazes the goal
A victor would not be a spectator to the challenges but would deal with them. Otherwise, could you explain Challenges are spectators…
Thank you Joyce, challenges are those things we are passing through they are not permanent
